check it out, heartbreakers—i’ve got friends! my two favorite bikram bloggers, the dancing j and mei ng, in my backyard. omfg, it had been raining all morning, but stopped as soon as these two got into town. they part clouds, i tell you. and burst into random acts of spontaneous dialogue. it was so much fun to be around them. even funner was having them in the mirror, in front of me, during practise.

after class, shawn helped mei show us how flexible she is. he worked with leah and j, too, but you can see how humid it was in the room still. mei was last so her pic came out the sharpest. actually, the pic of leah is pretty remarkable because the shutter was open for so long and she’s so still.

oh yeah, my mom is such a sweetheart, she gave me money so i could take the girls out to dinner. we ate at one of my favorite taquerias before they left town with some locally brewed kombucha and a dozen of pacific cookie company’s finest. guaranteed, if you visit, you’re gonna get a taste of my santa cruz life! today was awesome. thanks j, thanks mei. you inspire me with your words and now with your practise. maximum love and positive energy to you and all the rest of my cyber friends (that’s you)! see you tomorrow ~m
