mei is so awesome! i couldn’t get over how tiny she is, she looks like a little doll in this picture. warning: two minutes with either of these women and you will fall in love.

okay heartbreakers, this is important. i saw food, inc. last night. it’s mandatory viewing for anyone who eats. it was really disturbing, thought-provoking, i dunno what else to say. if you have 90 minutes, please, please, please, see this movie.

bikram was crowded today! of course, i overslept again. 101ers take heed, if you practise bikram yoga for long stretches of time you go through phases of needing more sleep than usual. actually, it’s not need, it’s want, you want to sleep more. it’s just a nicer way of dealing with the emotional outpourings you experience as you open up parts of your body that have been bottled up from years of bad posture and low self-esteem. sometimes sleep is double plus good.

all in all, it was a dreamy day. super sweaty bikram, i kinda wanted to do a double, but i had plans to hang out with a friend. we split a sandwich on the cliffs and then spent the day in her neighborhood. even though it was only 15 minutes away, it felt like i was on vacation the entire time. we’re only friends, but it’s still nice to spend time with someone. see you tomorrow ~m
